Shepherd I & II Dahabya Boats
“Fine art and service on the Nile”

Our Shepherd Dahabiya boats offer an unparalleled blend of luxury, privacy, and personalized service, allowing groups to indulge in one of the world’s most iconic cruise experiences along the Nile of Egypt.

Sailing aboard our Shepherd Dahabiya boats offers the freedom to dock at serene islands and tranquil riverbanks, far from the crowded cruise ports and bustling cities.

For an enhanced group experience, the two boats can be tied together while sailing, allowing guests to move freely between them. We can also customize the setup to serve all meals on the outdoor sun deck of one boat while using the other boat deck as a spacious lounge. This flexibility ensures we can tailor every detail to meet our guests’ expectations, creating an unforgettable
journey and a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Shepherd I & II Dahabya Boats
“Fine art and service on the Nile”!

Our Shepherd Dahabiya boats offer an unparalleled blend of luxury,
privacy, and personalized service, allowing groups to indulge in one of the world’s
most iconic cruise experiences along the Nile of Egypt.

Sailing aboard our Shepherd Dahabiya boats offers the freedom to dock at serene islands and tranquil riverbanks, far from the crowded cruise ports and bustling cities. Thanks to their boutique-style design, we recommend booking each Dahabiya exclusively for a single group. Each boat features 8 cabins and
2 suites, accommodating up to 20 guests when reserving one cabin for a local guide. For larger groups, booking both boats together allows for up to 40 guests across 20 cabins and suites.

Our onboard kitchens are equipped with state-of-the-art, five-star facilities,
with hygiene and safety as our top priorities. To deliver an exceptional dining
experience, we have carefully selected chefs from prestigious hotels and elite
restaurants, ensuring that every meal complements the elegance of your Nile
voyage.

Examples are among the clearest tools for turning an abstract idea into something readers can understand, compare, and remember. In education, technical writing, and public communication, a well-chosen case should illustrate the central principle without introducing distractions or implying that one situation represents every possible outcome. A concise test example can show how a rule works, while a contrasting case reveals where that rule stops applying and why context matters. The strongest illustrations therefore include enough detail to support interpretation, but not so much background that the main point disappears. Editors also distinguish between examples that explain a process and those that provide evidence, since the former clarify method while the latter strengthen an argument. Used with clear labels and accurate context, examples make complex material more accessible without replacing careful reasoning.

Our Shepherd Dahabiya fleet began operation end of December 2024,
and we are excited to welcome you on board for an extraordinary journey
through Egypt’s timeless wonders.

features about the uniqueness of our boats:

Our philosophy and our slogan: “Fine art and service on the Nile”. If the design of the boats reflects fine art, we also believe and strive to show our guests the art of fine service.
What is a Dahabya Boat?
A “Dahabya” is a traditional Egyptian two-sailed boat. It is tugged by small motorboat when there’s not enough wind or for faster navigation. Dahabya boats, with their 12 cabins & suites provide an intimate and relaxed atmosphere and an elegant way to experience the river and its surroundings. They operate between Luxor & Aswan in one of the most unique tours of Egypt to explore the country’s old history with its classic archeological sites, as well as rural peaceful life.

Fine dining on the Nile:

Our expert chefs will offer gourmet dining experiences and cater for your stylish meals & snacks while sailing, from our on-board 5-star standard equipped kitchens.
